Second Influence

I think that the secind reason Frederick Douglass is one of the most important peopel is that he was the first balck to write a book. This was a very important event in his life because it showed that black people could accomplish the same things that the whites could even if they were not rich or white. The name of his book was " The Narritive Life of Frederick Douglass" It was a bioghraphy of his life that explained what it was like to be black in the 1800s. Even today there are many book writers, entertainers, and artist that are black and without Federick Douglass who knows if they would be able to have those same oppertunities today.
